As we remember the adoption of the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution guaranteeing citizenship to Black people, we declare this day the #BlackLivesMatter Solidarity Day as Black people stand together. We are issuing a Cease and Desist Letter to the United States to stop ALL unlawful activity against the Black commumity. To reclaim our community, we are developing strategies that we can start now.

ALL BLACK PEOPLE ARE MEMBERS OF #BLACKLIVESMATTER. SHOW SOLIDARITY.

Since the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter was started, media and anti-Black entities have consistently demonized #BlackLivesMatter as a radical group. This is straight from the racists playbook to discredit and vilify. This tactic has always been used to silence any person(s) or movement that would bring Black people in the United States together under the single cause of FREEDOM. Being able to single out individuals who speak out and stand-up for Black people has allowed the assassination of Medgar Evers, Fred Hampton, Harry Moore, Harriette Moore, Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and imprisonment of countless others. The blessing of the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter is that ALL Black people are members — our skin color gives us automatic membership. The Black community is #BlackLivesMatter!

Over the past month, as murders and brutality by police officers on the Black community continues, media is attempting to change the narrative away from 'innocent Black people being killed by those hired to protect' to 'the fragility of police officers' as a distraction. WE MUST NOT ALLOW THE NARRATIVE TO CHANGE! We respect all police officers, but we do not respect nor honor murderers of any profession. We must keep the fact that Black lives are just as important as all OTHER lives in the United States on the minds of all people.

As we remember the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution adopted on July 28, 1868 and guaranteeing citizenship to Black people, we declare Thursday, July 28, 2016 the #BlackLivesMatter Solidarity Day. On this day #BlackLivesMatter Georgia Movement is issuing a Cease and Desist Letter to the United States to stop ALL unlawful activity against the Black community. We are also asking the Black community to stand in solidarity with each other, and let us reset our thinking on this day so we can strategically move forward collectively to reclaim our neighborhoods through our extended family, voting and buying power.

#BLACKLIVESMATTER STRATEGY FOR RECLAIMING THE BLACK COMMUNITY

We realize policy, laws and structures in the United States must change that continuously abuse the Black community. We also realize that we have to take responsibility for our communities. On #BlackLivesMatter Solidarity DayJuly 28, 2016 — let's take a mental and community reset. Go out of your way to recognize and speak positively to every Black person you run across in your daily tasks -- show love all day and continue that same interaction going forward.

Young people, as adults, we apologize for not doing all we could do in the past. But on this day of reset, we ask adults in the community to take time to stop and talk to a young Black person in your neighborhood. Introduce yourself. Start a conscious conversation about what do THEY think would help bring unity and a value of life in the Black community. Let us develop and execute nationwide strategy to reclaim our community.
